Die Präsentation “Aufmarschwege” ist die Fortsetzung des Werkkomplexes “Löwen & Adler.” Sie zeichnet die ideologische Darstellung des Wiederaufbaus in Ost Berlin als gesellschaftliche Aufgabe nach, in der der städtebauliche Aufbau eng verknüpft wurde mit der politischen Utopie, den neuen Menschen und das neue Deutschland zu konstruieren. Die Präsentation besteht aus drei Bildmontagen und der Foto-Installation “Erhebende Gesten.” Vierzehn Texttafeln geben Information über die Themen der Installation.

“Heraus aus den Trümmern” verwendet Propagandabilder die die Trümmerräumung als gemeinschaftliche Aufgabe und Pflicht anpreisen. “Die eerste soizalistische Straße der Hauptstadt Deutschlands Berlin” thematisiert den Bau der Stalinallee als erstes städtebauliches Vorzeigeprojekt Ost-Berlins. “Aufmarschwege” zeigt die Marschpläne für Massendemonstrationen die von 1946 bis 1974 in Ost-Berlin geplant und ausgeführt wurden. “Erhebende Gesten” zeigt die Statuen die im öffentlichen Raum in zentral-nördlichen Teil Ost-Berlin’s zwischen 1952 und 1985 aufgestellt wurden. In den Posen und Gesten der Bilder wirf der Pathos der sozialistischen Utopie des neuen Menschen sichtbar.

The presentation “Aufmarschwege” (Parade Routes) is the continuation of the work “Löwen & Adler.” It shows the post-war reconstruction of East-Berlin in ideological terms as a societal mission that tied urban reconstruction with the political utopia of constructing the New Man and the New Germany. The work consist of the three image montages and a photo-installation. Fourteen text panels give information and comments about the theme.

“Heraus aus den Trümmern” uses propaganda images, which promoted the clearing of rubble as a collective mission and duty. “Die eerste sozialistische Straße der Hauptstadt Deutschlands Berlin” revolves around the construction of the Stalinallee, which was the first prominent city planning project in East Berlin. “Aufmarschwege” shows the parade routes for the mass demonstrations of the working classes that were held between 1946 and 1974. “Erhebende Gesten” collects the statues that were installed in East Berlin between 1952 and 1985. In their poses and gestures, the statues show the pathos of the socialist utopia of the New Man.
